We were so happy to find this product on amazon.com. No local businesses have the Lady Buxton Leather wallet we were looking for. Our Mom had received this same item for her 40th birthday. THAT WAS 34 YEARS AGO. She was only now in need of replacing it. (Well, maybe it needed to be replaced last year as she had duct tape holding it together at the fold. Otherwise it was in good shape). It is amazing that it is such a great product.
Of course Mom wanted the same billfold. You know how that generation has such loyalty.

RED LADIES CONVERTIBLE BILLFOLD LEATHER WALLETIt is nice to find a company that takes pride and care in their manufacturing process.

We were hoping to find the original color of smokey pink, but otherwise the price was great and Mom is so pleased. We would highly recommend this product and will purchase it again (probably sooner than 34 years from now).

I was so glad to find this traditional style ladies billfold.. and in a bright, cheery color! This traditional billfold is for the practical woman who doesn't want the huge wallets that are now produced by so many companies. This compact, folding wallet is quality made leather by Buxton...and it won't take up all the space in your purse! It boasts a small coin pouch with a snap closure, hidden bill compartment, 5 plastic picture/card pockets that are neatly kept in a snap enclosure, and, of course, the bill compartment...all neatly held together by the snapping billfold closure. I am very pleased with my purchase of this billfold, it is well worth the price!

Ortofon Omega Review by lovoltage HT

This was a dollar versus reputation selection. I mounted it on an old Sansui turntable that I reconditioned and had reasonable expectations for and I was suprised at the tracking and musicality of the cartridge. It is coupled to a Pioneer Elite receiver with a good phono preamp section and played back through some very revealing Tannoy monitors. I am quite satisfied with not only the music quality but also the overall ability to properly track some of my more abused vinyl. Some flea market records are not in the best shape but must become part of the library due to content and the ortofon/sansui combo has done a commendable job of reproducing a really listenable rendition of some demanding material. I would not hesitate to commend this cartridge to others. I track it at 2 grams, a little higher than I like but not excessive. I did not get the impression that this fine cartridge came with the sort of compliance that would lend it to any dort of DJ style abuse however.

During Christmas 2010 I replaced my old Shure V15 Type IV cartridge that cost me $150 back in 1974. I had replaced the stylus once in between, but could no longer find a replacement. So I took a chance and purchased this cartridge for my old Rabco, and I must say that this inexpensive cartridge certainly holds it own on my vinyl from years ago. Of course, in "the old days" Ortofon was one of those high-end cartridges that was even less affordable than the best of the Shure's.

At this rate, if you can wear out the stylus--just replace the whole cartridge/stylus combination.

By the way, I had no hum problems--actually less hum pickup than the old Type IV.


Ortofon Omega Review by Jackpot (Tuscaloosa, AL)

I had bad luck with this cartridge. It sounded okay at first, but it was not long before the left channel began humming very loudly. Since replacing the Omega with a Shure M97xE, I have not had any problems with humming, and my music sounds much better. If you can afford a good cartridge, I recommend skipping the Omega and investing in something nicer.

This product is made well, and easy to install. I believe that the mounting will hold up to a lot of abuse and not pull out of the wall even if it is not mounted into studs. The finish is attractive and seems very durable. It looks as new as the day we purchased it. The only down side is that it is a bit pricey.
